Pierced Eyeglasses
The idea of hanging eyeglasses from a piercing or a combination of piercings or even transdermal implants is something that a lot of us have toyed with — as I was writing this, my old boss Tom Brazda reminded me that almost ten years ago we made a set of them built around a 10ga bridge piercing (with both left and right-handed threading to make it adjustable). That said, I don’t think we ever took pictures, so maybe I’m making it up because I want to steal James Sooy’s thunder. He’s who sent me this gorgeous example of a piercing-mounted set of eyeglasses. No matter how many piercings you have you can always get a Masters Degree In Social Work.

Yikes that’d hurt. .but i guess if you got them you might enjoy pain.. so to each their own.
I work in an optical store…It’s a neat idea. But what happens when a child grabs at them?? or a car accident? or a fight?? we have so many people that come in here with glassed that are so mangled, if they were attached to their face they would definitely be in the hospital.

Well. It doesn’t look so easy to take it off. Very creative, but not gonna sell very well.
I guess if you can live with pierce boby parts those will fit right alone, am almost sure whoever, have these have other parts of their bodies pierced as well, as matt, stated, “to each his own” LOL

this is shopped, i can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.
Wow, these are amazing. I know that people with bridge piercings and glasses find them a pain together. So this is the perfect solution. I’m glad someone came up with it! Would sell great at a piercing shop, the ability to do this.
I AGREE WITH R.R. TOTALLY SHOPPED, I HAVE ALSO SEEN QUITE A FEW IN MY TIME. OH AND THE PIXELS.
The obvious solution is to mount them with magnets. then you can just pull them off easy. And in an emergency, they won’t rip out your piercing. Just two little magnets, on the frames, or on the piercing. And then the other part needs to be ferrous metals.

i hate it when theres always someone who thinks theyre smarter than everyone else and points out that they think an image is photoshopped. sometimes people actually make and do things that are incredible. just because you dont believe it doesnt make it fake.
It’s not shopped, search for body modification online and realise that this isn’t actually too stanage and there’s a whole community who do this sort of thing. Perhaps it would have been safer to have a magnetic implant / peircing which the glasses could be attached to.
