Ice Hotel On Japan’s Hokaido Island
Japan opens ice hotel, tourists rush to book rooms. Following the model of norththern-European countries like Sweden, Japan opened an ice hotel in Alpha Resort Tomamu’s ice village, on Hokkaido Island. It is in an ice village in Shimukappu town, Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido. eb. 3, 2009. The hotel where dining room, bed room and bath room are made out of ice, charges 80,000 yen (US $696) for two per night and provides dinner served on an ice plate. It opens until Feb 15, 2009. There are a lots of interesting stuff which you can do there. For the example you can drink few cocktails at an ice bar like those girls on pictures do. Those drinks will be served to you from an ice glasses so you better be wearing gloves. When you dicide to take a dinner there are a chef who will prepare it for you. It will be served on an ice plate. The interesting thing is that there is an outdoor bathroom in this ice hotel. I don’t know what is the temperature of the water but for sure out of it is very cold. I hope that you will like those few pictures from this amazing ice hotel which is on one of the Japanese island.
