IGCSE & A-Level
International GCSEs are versions of the UK Ofqual regulated GCSEs, with content and assessment designed specifically for international learners. Designed to be engaging, internationally appropriate and of equivalent standard to the GCSE, our International GCSEs provide students with the skills and knowledge they will need to successfully progress to A Levels, onto university and into employment.
The General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level, or A Level , British education pattern, is available as an alternative qualification in other countries.
Most students study three or four A level subjects simultaneously during the two post-16 years (ages 16–18) in a secondary school as part of their further education.
A Levels are wildly recognized by many universities as the standard for assessing the suitability of applicants for admission in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, and other countries as well.
Edexcel is the UK’s largest academic certificate awarding organization. Edexcel offers academic and vocational qualifications in schools, colleges and work places in the UK and abroad. The British curriculum offered by the Edexcel International board is among the most taught at International Schools and, the most dominant educational exam board in the international school sector. Edexcel’s international academic certificate courses mainly include GCE A – Levels / IAL, GCSE / International GCSE and PLSC course. It is the test that British students must take as the university entrance examination. Edexcel is the British equivalent of the Chinese college entrance examination. That exam is known as the "World College Entrance Examination" and is regarded as the gold standard among global university entrance examinations. As in the UK, almost all of the universities in the English speaking world accept Edexcel A - Level results from students applying for admission. In China students completing the Edexcel A - Levels successfully apply to the top universities in Britain, the United States, Canada and Australia.
AQA (Assessment and Qualifications Alliance) is an educational certificate awarding body in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It compiles specifications and holds examinations in various subjects at GCSE, AS and A Level and offers vocational qualifications. It is one of the three largest certifying institutions in the UK, and enjoys high reputation around the world. The AQA's global test range includes scores of GCSE, GCE, GNVQ, VCE, and Entry Level curriculums; and serves more than 75 million candidates worldwide. AQA is leading alternative to the traditional British A - levels courses. By responding to the constructive suggestions of educators and students its curriculum has been designed to be more tailored to the educational and vocational goals of many students. The aim of AQA is to achieve the candidate's particular goals by pairing them with the best training package available, and thus making their assessments as authentic as possible.
